About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Senior Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Porthaven Care Homes.

Job Description

The successful candidate will co-ordinate and support the planning, creation, and delivery of our home's leisure and wellness programme. This includes tailoring activities and leisure pursuits to enhance the lives and improve the holistic wellbeing of our residents.

We offer a full training programme including NAPA Level 2, progression towards NAPA Level 3, and Awards for Supporting Activity Provision in Social Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • To plan, create, and deliver engaging activities and hobbies for residents.
  • To ensure a programme of individual activities is available to meet the needs of all residents.
  • To work closely with colleagues to develop a tailored approach to care and wellbeing.
Requirements

We require someone who is well organised, able to demonstrate leadership qualities, and has excellent communication skills.

A genuine interest in active ageing for older people is essential.
