Position Details
The role encompasses 19 hours per week, specifically on Wednesday for 5 hours (morning or afternoon), Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The Mortgage Support Team within Wealth Management Operations serves as a center of excellence, dedicated to supporting the Wealth Management Mortgage Business across Europe, catering to High Net Worth clients seeking UK mortgage solutions.
This team is crucial in fostering the growth of the Wealth Management Mortgage Business while ensuring an exceptional client experience. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment with ambitious growth objectives, innovative mortgage products in development, and new markets to explore.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Mortgage Specialists throughout the mortgage process lifecycle.
- Prepare essential mortgage documentation, including application and offer packs, utilization requests, commencement letters, and annual mortgage statements.
- Coordinate legal and valuation tasks, ensuring all completion activities meet required conditions and facilitate mortgage loan booking.
- Engage regularly with colleagues in various locations to provide support and maintain effective communication.
- Ensure accurate data management within systems and work alongside operations and technology teams to address exceptions.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of UK mortgage regulations and the end-to-end process.
- Ensure adherence to JPMorgan policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist with Regulatory Reporting obligations.
- Collaborate on projects aimed at launching new products, simplifying existing processes, and enhancing the client experience.
- A university degree (preferably in Law or Finance) or relevant experience with client credit documentation.
- Familiarity with mortgage documentation and regulations is advantageous.
- Experience in a financial institution is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong organizational abilities, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of credit and lending products.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and support process enhancements.
- Proficiency in Excel is a plus.
- A focus on control and risk mitigation with meticulous attention to detail.
