About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at one of our community houses in Garforth, Leeds. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to our adult residents, helping them to develop independent living skills and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to residents, helping them to develop daily living skills such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and exercise.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create and implement individual support plans that meet the needs and aspirations of each resident.
  • Support residents to engage in leisure activities, socialize with others, and participate in community events.
  • Monitor and report on resident progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.

  • A competitive rate of £12 per hour, with a £1 increment over weekends and bank holidays.
  • 33 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays (pro rata).
