Job Overview

At Inspired PLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Energy Procurement Administrator to join our Ignite Energy team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the energy procurement team in tendering, placement, and management of utility contracts for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the energy procurement team to ensure all customer meters and sites are maintained in suitable contracts.
  • Compile data from various sources to produce tender documents for flexible and fixed electricity and gas, and water contracts.
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather relevant data and support in analyzing responses for fixed tenders.
  • Produce reporting and summary documents for clients, as well as supporting the presentation of tender responses.
  • Provide administrative support to the team around forecasting and analysis of non-commodity costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with market drivers and support the account management team with commentary and customer dialogue.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, and respond to queries in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of energy markets and contracts.
  • Background in analysis or working with data.
  • Excellent communication skills for dealing with customers, contractors, and other team members.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and computer literate.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
