About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team at BMS Performance, a leading provider of industrial, commercial, and residential gas services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of large liquified petroleum gas vessels, as well as the technical installation, inspection, and maintenance of above and underground distribution pipework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, maintenance, and inspection of large liquified petroleum gas vessels
  • Technical installation, inspection, and maintenance of above and underground distribution pipework
  • Routine maintenance work at clients' storage depots and industrial customer plants
  • On-site installations of pipework, pumps, vaporisers, and auxiliary equipment at customer sites
Requirements
  • Knowledge of pipework assembly, including flanged and screwed joints
  • Experience with liquified petroleum gas (LPG) in both liquid and vapour phase, safe working practices, and isometric plant layout drawings
  • Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) experience as a Mechanical Engineer
  • Experience as a Mechanical Engineer in gas from industrial/commercial industries
  • Mechanical Engineering qualifications
