Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Lead Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for building a robust testing framework and ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a scalable and maintainable automated testing framework to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Design and implement a testing framework that supports various testing types such as API, UI, and end-to-end testing.
  • Lead and mentor the quality assurance team.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Development, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and create acceptance criteria.
  • Validate that all deliverables meet defined quality standards and acceptance criteria before deployment.
  • Deliver regular progress reports, metrics, and summaries to stakeholders.
  • Ensure complete coverage of product features and functionalities.
  • Coordinate the entire QA process, from initial planning through execution to final reporting.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership capabilities with proven mentoring skills.
  • Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead QA Engineer.
  • In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building automation frameworks.
  • Proficient in working with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Interview Process:

The interview process will consist of two stages: a head of department interview and a cross-functional team interview. A technical task may be involved.

Requirements:

  • MUST be local to Altrincham for office-based work.
  • MUST have full right to work – we are unable to provide sponsorship.
