As the Knowledge Development Lawyer for the non-contentious Construction group, you will be responsible for enhancing the legal expertise within the team, developing knowledge resources, and delivering high-quality training. You will collaborate with other Knowledge Development Lawyers across the firm and support fee earners with legal know-how, best practice, and commercial awareness. Working closely with partners and senior lawyers, you will also contribute to business development initiatives and knowledge-sharing firmwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor legal developments, trends, and best practices, producing engaging knowledge materials and maintaining an organised Knowledge Hub.
  2. Provide technical support to fee earners, addressing queries and sharing know-how.
  3. Design and deliver tailored legal training programmes for varying qualification levels.
  4. Collaborate with Business Development to create client-facing knowledge content and enhance the team's external profile.
  5. Maintain the precedent bank, liaising with business support and library services for updates and automation.

This role would suit an experienced lawyer (at least 6 years PQE) with a strong background in non-contentious construction work. You should have excellent legal knowledge, a commercial mindset, and a proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality training and knowledge resources. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects efficiently.
