At Sparsholt, we're seeking a skilled Horticulture Grounds Maintenance Specialist to contribute to the upkeep of our college grounds. As part of our team, you'll work closely with teaching staff to provide practical support and technical instruction to students training in horticulture.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our maintenance team and play a key role in ensuring our grounds are well-maintained. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting the development of our students and contributing to the overall success of our institution.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the college grounds across both sites
- Work closely with teaching staff to provide practical support and technical instruction to students
- Supervise students training in horticulture with a focus on machinery and plant maintenance and establishment
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a good understanding of health and safety procedures and relevant qualifications in a subject area related to horticulture. A sound working knowledge of horticulture and experience in maintaining equipment would also be beneficial.
