About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Head of Financial Planning and Management to join our team at Babcock International. We are looking for someone who can provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to our Submarine South refit programme.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to support the delivery of the Submarine South refit programme.
  2. Work closely with the Sector Finance teams to ensure that FMSP budgeting, forecasting, and cost control are aligned to contractual commitments, accurate, timely, and effective.
  3. Provide financial leadership and guidance to the programme team, ensuring that they are aware of their financial responsibilities and are equipped to make informed decisions.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a multisite, project environment, extensive experience in financial management at a senior finance level in a project engineering environment, and experience of working in a commercial environment.
