About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a Deputy Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in leading our nursing team and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the training and development of nursing personnel, conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and feedback.
  • Coordinate and oversee patient care plans, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and assess residents' health status, assisting in clinical decision-making and problem resolution.
  • Foster effective communication among healthcare team members and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with care home policies and procedures, implementing and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage nursing resources efficiently, participating in budget planning and control to optimize resource allocation.
  • Identify areas for quality improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership to the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring appropriate skill mix and staffing levels to meet the needs of our residents.
Requirements
  • NMC Registered
  • Past experience working in a care home environment, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
