Production Team Leader (FLM) Job Description

W Talent is partnering with CorrBoard UK Ltd to recruit a Production Team Leader (FLM) for their Scunthorpe site. This critical role operates on a rotating shift pattern and oversees the corrugator operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the corrugator process, including production of corrugated boards and single-face products.
  • Drive team performance and ensure business targets are met or exceeded.
  • Report and review machine breakdowns, addressing performance issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with team members to review performance and well-being.
  • Oversee quality observations and champion quality control procedures.
  • Ensure operators perform quality checks at every critical manufacturing stage.
  • Manage trials and sample collections as required.
  • Ensure production is completed professionally within the required timeframe.
  • Input all necessary data accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate required training, briefings, and safety standards to team members.
  • Coordinate breaks fairly throughout the shift.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure all process checks are completed.
  • Be flexible in supporting other areas of the operation and warehouse processes as needed.
  • Provide cover for the Production Manager when necessary.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have experience in a packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG environment. A strong understanding of team performance, leadership, and well-being is essential.
