We are currently seeking an experienced Product Development Programme Manager to join our team in Barnstaple, UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex product developments through the full product lifecycle.
The Role
This is a key role within our organisation, responsible for managing product developments across multiple programmes, projects, tasks, and work packages. You will be working closely with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product development strategies, aligning with customer requirements and organisational goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver products on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Foster excellent relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain a deep understanding of SEA's business and technology, identifying opportunities to add value through effective planning, risk management, and issue handling.
- Operate in line with SEA's business management system, championing process improvements and best practices.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced programme manager with a strong track record in delivering complex products and systems through the full lifecycle. Your skills and experience should include:
- Proven expertise in risk and opportunity management, configuration management, and project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage change and conflict effectively.
- A deep understanding of the military environment and project management competencies, including financial management and supplier/subcontractor project management.
