Matchtech is seeking a skilled professional to assist in the development and ongoing improvement of the nuclear site safety case. This role is fully remote apart from once a month onsite visits to Barrow-in-Furness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hazard identification and analysis
- Deterministic and probabilistic safety assessments
- Supporting ongoing periodic reviews of safety activities
- Assisting with regulatory discussions (ONR/DNSR)
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Safety Case development, ideally in Nuclear or other high-hazard industries
- Familiarity with Naval Nuclear programs is a plus
- Clear, concise, and logical writing skills
- Experience in safety case authoring and understanding modern nuclear safety standards
