Job Title: Bank Cook

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bank Cook to join our team at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT. As a Bank Cook, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient meal services in our hospital kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals for patients in accordance with dietary requirements and hospital policies.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard, meeting the requirements of the hospital's food safety and hygiene policies.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that meals are delivered to patients on time and to a high standard.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in food preparation and presentation.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a hospital kitchen or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
