Job Title: Senior/Principal Hydrologist

Neo Environmental Ltd, a leading environmental consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Hydrologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in one of our offices in Warrington, Bristol, Glasgow, or Ballymena and will work on a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver Flood Risk Assessments, SuDs schemes, and other water management projects.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling and produce associated reports.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Organize and conduct site visits, attend team and client meetings.
  • Undertake extensive modeling work and report writing.
Requirements:
  • Relevant hydrology qualification and chartered status (preferably ICE).
  • Experience in completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, and Hydraulic Modeling using Flood Modeller Pro, HEC-RAS, or similar software.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering hydrology reports.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of UK legislation.
  • Ability to produce reports for clients, requiring attention to detail, reliability, and good organizational skills.
  • Experience in GIS and other software packages.
  • Full driving license.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Master's degree relevant to hydrology.
  • Experience in peat stability and related assessments.
  • Strong scientific and engineering knowledge in relation to hydrology.
  • Tendering/bid preparation experience.
  • Production of EIA Chapters.
