Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-performing engineering teams to generate solutions that meet customer needs
  • Develop strategies to ensure delivery of engineering aspects of programmes while meeting governance requirements
  • Work with Programme Managers to define organisation and work breakdown required to deliver to customer needs
  • Define project-specific processes, practices, and tools to ensure delivery
  • Manage engineering teams' work packages, including resources, budgets, risks, and assumptions
  • Plan and prioritise activities to deliver solutions to contract schedules, costs, and quality
  • Manage and report engineering efficiency for the project
  • Identify re-use opportunities across the project
  • Align project-defined solutions to Product Roadmap

Requirements:

  • Extensive background in engineering and engineering management on large programmes
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully defining and leading delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering projects
  • Excellent customer focus, communication skills, and ability to work in fast-moving environment with multiple parallel objectives
  • Knowledge and experience of naval products beneficial
