Rolf Berryman Limited is seeking a highly skilled Residential Development Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in handling large-scale development matters for our housebuilder clients.

About the Role:

  • Advise National and Regional Housebuilder Clients: You will provide expert advice to national and regional housebuilder clients on residential developments up to 6,500 homes.
  • Handle Land Acquisition and Large-Scale Development Matters: You will handle land acquisition and large-scale development matters, working closely with our clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Draft and Negotiate Development Agreements: You will draft and negotiate development agreements, conditional contracts, and options, ensuring that our clients' interests are protected.
  • Assist with Corporate and Contractual Joint Ventures: You will assist with corporate and contractual joint ventures and collaborations, providing expert guidance to our clients.
  • Support Housebuilder Clients: You will support housebuilder clients with strategic land projects, helping them to achieve their development goals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor: You must be a qualified solicitor with 3-6 years' PQE.
  • Experience in Development Work: Experience in development work for housebuilders is highly advantageous.
  • Commercial Property Law: You must have strong technical skills in commercial property law.
  • Passion for Land Acquisition: You must be passionate about land acquisition and residential development.
  • Commercial Acumen: You must have strong commercial acumen and excellent communication and client relationship skills.
