Loft Insulation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Loft Insulation Technician to join our team at Shropshire Green Energy Centre Ltd. This role involves the installation of loft insulation in domestic properties, requiring a high level of manual dexterity and ability to work safely at height.

The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training, ensuring they adhere to industry standards and best practices. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drill holes in designated areas on occupied properties, utilizing ladders or access equipment where necessary.
• Implement insulation products according to system designers' specifications.
• Restore exterior property facades by re-pointing holes to match original mortar.
• Ensure workspace cleanliness, including window sills, and remove debris and packaging materials.
• Pursue and successfully complete ACOPs and CSCS training/tests.
• Transport insulation materials to job sites via company vehicle.
• Prepare and submit accurate documentation.
• Comply with work guidelines and adjust schedules as required.
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
• Uphold rigorous adherence to health & safety protocols.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 per year, based on location and experience.
