Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Gas Engineer to join our team at SGN. As a key member of our gas operations team, you will be responsible for leading gas service/mains replacement activities, excavating in public and private highways for the laying and repairing of gas pipes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work safely and as part of a team in a variety of outdoor environments
  • Use computer field systems to achieve high standards of safety and technical competence
  • Achieve high standards of safety and technical competence
  • Opportunity to mentor trainee engineers

Requirements

  • A friendly and approachable attitude when working as part of a team, with excellent customer service skills
  • Qualifications (Required): GN01, GN02
  • Qualifications (Preferred but not essential): NRSWA, ELR
  • A full and valid driving licence is essential
  • Comfortable with technology (for using field-based systems)
