We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Cleaner.
Job Type: Part-time
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our listed building, which is used as a holiday let and private residence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning bathrooms, including restocking dispensers and sanitizing fixtures
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Hoovering and mopping floors
- Changing linen and maintaining laundry facilities
- Emptying rubbish and recycling
- Setting up and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
- Monitoring and maintaining the sanitation and organization of assigned areas
- Transporting dirty linens to the laundry area and restocking clean linen
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies
- Previous experience in cleaning and housekeeping
- Driving licence and ability to commute to work
Work Location: In person, 6 miles south of Carlisle
