Job Title: Principal Chemist

Location: South Wales

Company Overview: RBW Consulting is a leading CRO that is expanding its operations in South Wales. We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Chemist to join our team.

Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work in our small analytical team, supporting a growing team of organic and synthetic chemists. The successful candidate will have a strong background in method development, particularly in chromatography, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate new chemical testing methods
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Manage projects and lead a small analytical team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in method development within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Solid understanding of chromatography, including HPLC
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients
  • PhD or MSc educated within a chemistry discipline
