About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Making Space, a service dedicated to providing person-centered care to individuals with complex mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and delegate tasks to a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality values-based support is delivered to the people we support.
  • Support adults with mental health conditions on a person-centered basis, following care plans and administering medication as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Support Worker, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering person-centered care.
