Behaviour Mentor - Lewisham

Role Overview

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team in Lewisham. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work alongside the class teacher to ensure each child progresses towards their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with additional needs, including those with mild to severe learning difficulties, verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, sensory impairment, Autism, Challenging Behaviour, and other additional needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to pupils to help them develop social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour management strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with additional needs.
  • Strong understanding of the requirement to support pupils with additional needs.
  • Adaptability, motivation, and ability to take initiative.
  • Industry advice from a Secondary team consultant located in your area.
  • Tailored interview and trial preparation to ensure you are feeling confident and well-prepared.
  • A dedicated compliance consultant to manage your file clearance.
  • An online timesheet portal and PAYE pay options to make things quick and easy.
