Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is proud to be working with a highly successful, well-established professional building company in the search for a Quantity Surveyor for their growing commercial team.
About the RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the delivery and management of a variety of projects, providing regular updates on the performance of ongoing projects valued up to £3m. You will work closely with the Operational Team and report to the Commercial Director.
Key Responsibilities- Measure and price work
- Negotiate and agree final accounts
- Manage projects from inception to completion
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, commercially and contractually aware, with a good knowledge of construction processes. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveyor role is required, with experience in the Build side of the construction industry being an advantage.
