Role Overview

The successful candidate will oversee the formulation of integration and validation plans for electrical systems and software in our vehicles, ensuring seamless execution of test plans and adherence to quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute integration and validation plans for electrical systems and software.
  • Lead a team of engineers in generating and executing validation and acceptance test plans for new hardware and software releases.
  • Ensure integration test and validation plans and results are produced following relevant processes and adhere to quality standards.
  • Manage access to test assets and rigs, ensuring integration and validation activities align with project expectations.
  • Organize and plan validation work-packages, including certification tests for electrical systems, EMC tests, and other cross-functional design validation programs.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in hardware and software integration and validation within an automotive environment.
  • Demonstrable experience working on electrical systems integration and validation across vehicle domains.
  • Leadership experience managing work-packages and planning integration and validation activities.
  • Awareness of automotive regulatory standards and experience planning certification activities, EMC, safety, etc.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers an estimated salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
