Senior Speech and Language Therapist - Neuro Rehabilitation

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our Neuro Rehabilitation team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with complex neurological conditions.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with stroke, brain injury, and neurodegenerative diseases. You will be responsible for assessing patients' communication and swallowing needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of working in Neuro Rehabilitation environments, with experience of managing complex cases and leading multidisciplinary teams. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' communication and swallowing needs

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Registered member of HCPC
  • Significant experience of working within a neuro rehab hospital setting
  • Evidence of successful completion of tracheostomy competency framework
  • Evidence of successful completion of Level 3 videofluoroscopy competencies
