About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team at JAM Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing design solutions to meet project requirements, managing requirements and acceptance criteria, and ensuring compliance with contractual and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop design solutions to meet project time, cost, and quality requirements
  • Manage requirements and acceptance criteria for systems and products
  • Understand contractual and performance requirements for various systems
  • Produce documentation to support design review process
  • Ensure design proving evidence is comprehensive and captured in requirements management tools
  • Ensure compliance with company, safety, environmental, and contractual standards
  • Undertake design reviews and presentations to customers
  • Provide technical support to integrated performance and acceptance activities
  • Review supplier documentation and ensure it is captured and recorded appropriately
  • Support development of estimates for scope of work and resources required
  • Deliver technical input and engineering solutions in support of build activities
