We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team at HR Careers & Nationwide Recruitment Service Ltd. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the management of our property portfolio, ensuring that all properties are safely maintained and financially viable.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of business, commercial, and residential properties
- Ensure regulatory compliance for all properties, including safety and statutory requirements
- Maintain records of all statutory compliances and requirements
- Ensure that all necessary insurances are in place to protect the business, its assets, and tenants
- Regularly inspect properties to ensure they meet required standards and are being correctly used and maintained
- Negotiate leases and tenancy agreements with tenants
- Liaise with managing agents and tenants to ensure prompt payment of rental payments
- Report monthly on company overheads, general expenditure, and overall performance against planned budgets
- Member of the National Residential Landlords Association - NRLA
- Knowledge of relevant building regulations and compliance matters associated with the property sector
- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory obligations incumbent on landlords and a good understanding of the regulatory framework governing landlord and tenant relationships
- Ability to use a PC including Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software
- Commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes
This role requires the post holder to be an Essential Car User, hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a vehicle, and be willing to visit various sites and property locations across the UK. The post holder may also be required to work flexibly outside of normal office hours as required.
This role requires the post holder to be able to travel to various locations across the UK, including Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Warwick, Coventry, London, and other surrounding areas.
