Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Wildlife Fundraiser to join our team at NFP People. As a Wildlife Fundraiser, you will be responsible for engaging with members of the public, spreading awareness about our conservation efforts, and inspiring individuals to become lifelong members.
About the Role: This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the conservation of nature. You will be working with a diverse and inclusive community to drive positive change. Your role will involve setting up fundraising stands, interacting with the public, and promoting our conservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to promote our conservation efforts
- Engage with members of the public, spreading awareness about our conservation efforts and inspiring individuals to become lifelong members
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve fundraising targets
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with donors and supporters
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A driver's license valid for use in the UK
- Ability to work 3 out of 4 weekends
- Willingness to travel (on average) an hour away from home each day
- Ability to work outdoors and independently
- Fundraising/Sales and Customer Service experience (desirable)
