Academic Pastoral Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team at Dean Trust Ardwick. As a Pupil Support and Progress Lead, you will be responsible for providing outstanding pastoral and academic progress support for pupils.
With a strong focus on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, you will work closely with key staff and external agencies to ensure the well-being of our pupils. The estimated salary for this role is £38,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Main Responsibilities:- To develop and implement strategies to promote the safeguarding of pupils and ensure early intervention work in partnership with the safeguarding team.
- To support teachers in promoting a high standard of behaviour in classrooms and around school, using the school's Behaviour for Learning system to monitor behaviour.
- To actively promote the school's stance of zero tolerance towards bullying of any kind and provide support for pupils through use of interventions such as mediation and restorative justice.
