Publicity Director for Children's Books
Bloomsbury Publishing Plc is seeking a highly skilled Publicity Director for Children's Books to join our award-winning team. As a key member of our children's division, you will be responsible for developing and leading publicity strategies for our children's books, including the iconic Harry Potter series.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead publicity campaigns for children's books, including Harry Potter
- Lead and empower a team of publicists to create innovative and effective campaigns
- Work closely with authors, editors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful campaign execution
- Manage budgets and allocate resources to achieve maximum exposure for our books
- Contribute to the overall strategy of the children's division and participate in key meetings
Requirements:
- Proven experience in children's book publicity, with a strong track record of success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with authors, editors, and other stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and empower a team of publicists
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
- Knowledge of the children's book market and trends, with a passion for children's literature
