At XPO Transport Solutions UK Limited, we're looking for a highly skilled Route Optimization Specialist to join our team on a nights shift.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with our shared user network based in Leigh, planning specialist loads and palletized deliveries for the day shift. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for producing efficient routes for multiple depots and maintaining excellent levels of customer service.

We're committed to minimizing operational costs and optimizing efficiency, and we need someone who can accurately manage scheduling and company costings to achieve this goal.

What You'll Do
  1. Plan and optimize routes for multiple depots to ensure efficient delivery schedules
  2. Manage scheduling and company costings to minimize operational costs
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the network to ensure excellent customer service
Requirements
  • Previous experience in general haulage or shared user pallet networks
  • Great communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders
  • Proven planning experience and ability to identify and resolve potential routing issues
