Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT invites applications from experienced registered dietitians to fill this exciting position in our renal dietetic team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Band 5 or Band 6 dietitian to specialise in renal services and develop their skills and expertise. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with renal disease.
About the Job:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate dietetic interventions for patients with renal disease, using evidence-based principles.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address patients' clinical, emotional, psychological, and social problems.
- Develop and deliver educational resources for patients with renal disease.
- Participate in the development and delivery of training packages for staff and other health professionals.
- Ensure your own continuing professional development and contribute to the Trust's clinical governance programme.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered dietitian with a degree in Dietetics or Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics and HCPC registration.
- Excellent clinical knowledge in general dietetics and at least 12 months of post-registration experience.
- Understanding of professional ethics and application in practice.
