About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Cost Management Director to join our team at Tilbury Douglas. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for delivering successful projects across various sectors, including health, education, and infrastructure.

Job Description
  • Contribute to project scope and design from a commercial aspect, identifying opportunities and minimizing risks.
  • Provide detailed advice on contract conditions and escalate issues requiring expert legal advice; manage resolution of contractual issues and disputes.
  • Influence and develop procurement strategies, devising suitable routes for the supply chain.
  • Lead procurement, negotiation, and letting of complex sub-contracts.
  • Ensure implementation of site-based cost control processes for prelims, sub-contracts, and client-level variations.
Requirements
  • Detailed understanding and proven ability to implement and guide others in Paragon's standard Commercial and Operational company documentation and procedures.
  • Proven ability and confidence in dealing with financial management, cost control, contracts, contract documentation, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Able to interpret information contained in a program and use progress records to assess and record contractual progress.
  • Proven ability and confidence in procuring subcontractors across all packages using various procurement routes.
