We are seeking a skilled Credit Investment Advisor to join our team and contribute to the growth of this exciting new platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting transaction assessments, ongoing risk and performance monitoring, and reviewing new transactions. You will also assist in the transaction documentation process and provide ongoing oversight of investments.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in private credit, leveraged finance, structured finance, mergers and acquisitions, or similar fields. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, including working with financial models and understanding investment appraisal fundamentals. You will also have relevant experience in private credit, leveraged finance, structured finance, mergers and acquisitions, or similar fields, and an entrepreneurial approach to enable further growth in the platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct transaction assessments, including detailed credit analysis of private financing deals with recommendations to the Investment Committee.
  • Ongoing risk and performance monitoring of the portfolio.
  • Review new transactions, including financial models, business plans, third-party due diligence reports, and other bespoke diligence (ESG), and build/test assumptions of financial models provided.
  • Assist in the transaction documentation process in conjunction with the Bank and external stakeholders to ensure efficient investments.
  • Ongoing oversight of investments post-completion, including oversight of any investments showing signs of stress or distress.
  • Continued technical development on modeling, credit analysis, legal terms.

Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills, including working with financial models and understanding investment appraisal fundamentals.
  • Relevant experience in private credit, leveraged finance, structured finance, mergers and acquisitions, or similar fields.
  • Entrepreneurial approach to enable further growth in the platform, and a willingness to embrace complexity and impose structure.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to all levels within the business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build strong working relationships with all stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave entitlement.
