Richmond, Greater London, United Kingdom William Grant & Sons Full time

Job Overview

The Branded Business Unit (BBU) at William Grant & Sons is responsible for the development, growth, and sale of our award-winning brands globally. The FP&A team provides reporting, forecasting, and business partnering with central commercial and functional teams. As a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist, you will deliver high-quality reporting to BBU leadership teams to enhance decision-making and drive growth.

Main Responsibilities

You will utilize various WG&S systems and data sources, along with narrative information gathered through strong relationships across the BU, to explain business actual and forecast performance to stakeholders. You will support the implementation of William Grant Way initiatives, including helping the business unit thrive under the internal markets operating model, developing improved automation of the business reporting rhythm, and building further capability within the wider finance teams.

Key Requirements

Mastery of WG&S data systems, experience in building useful and clear reporting, the ability to spot trends and anomalies in data, and a strong understanding of how to drive business financial performance are essential. You will build a strong understanding of the business dynamics in the regions and use that insight to support analysis of the business unit performance.

Our Ideal Candidate

You will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant with FP&A experience and strong Excel skills, ideally with PowerBI and Power Query experience. You will be able to work autonomously when required but be comfortable playing an active role in supporting others to deliver larger projects. You will also be confident in your abilities to communicate well with and build rapport with stakeholders and leaders across the business and establish positive working relationships with individuals across the globe, remotely.

What We Offer

  6. Our Life Assurance cover is a multiple of eight times your annual basic salary.
  7. Product allocation so that you can enjoy our fantastic portfolio of brands.
  8. Our Cycle to Work scheme allows you to hire a bike for an agreed length of time, and then snap it up for a fraction of its original value.
  9. Every employee has the opportunity to claim up to £1,000 per year for a charity or charities for which they have raised money, volunteered their time, or personally donated.
  10. Learning resources to help you be your best self.
