Your Key Responsibilities

  • Determine full indirect tax implications of new initiatives and provide effective tax cost management advice.
  • Communicate tax implications to stakeholders and act as a subject matter expert for business and compliance process changes.
  • Develop understanding of the company's existing indirect tax positions and articulate them to tax authorities.
  • Assist in managing tax authority and other audits/disputes, including litigation and third-party relationships.
  • Monitor VAT landscape changes and communicate updates to Leadership.
  • Support Indirect Tax Director in identifying VAT risks and opportunities.
  • Assist Tax Leadership in inputting to Indirect Tax lobbying and networking events.
  • Be the day-to-day Indirect Tax Subject Matter Expert on wider EMEA regulatory projects.
  • Ensure open communication channels with the Compliance team.
  • Work with corporate tax/transfer pricing teams and other Indirect Tax colleagues to mitigate wider Tax risks.
  • Report Indirect Tax exposures/developments to Leadership teams/Board meetings.
