Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading Plastic Injection Moulding Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plastic injection moulding machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plastic injection moulding machines
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to resolve mechanical and electrical issues
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production levels

Requirements:

  • Electrical background with experience in reading electrical schematics and manuals
  • Background in machine maintenance and manufacturing
  • Mechanical skills with ability to repair and fabricate
  • Desirable: experience with injection moulding and ability to weld

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum
  • 23 days' holiday + bank holidays
  • Flexible working hours with Monday to Friday schedule
