Job Overview

We are a leading construction company, Bell Building Projects Ltd, seeking an experienced Construction Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of safety, durability, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites, materials, and workmanship to identify and address any quality issues or deviations from project plans.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to establish and maintain quality objectives and performance metrics.
  • Provide guidance and training to construction teams on quality control best practices, standards, and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or concerns related to quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates.
  • Monitor and track quality performance metrics, analyse data trends, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to construction quality assurance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • A strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing quality assurance programmes.
  • UK driving license.
  • Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and the requirements of producing the Golden Thread of information.
