Job Description


We are seeking a skilled 2-Shift based Electrician who will execute planned, preventative, and reactive engineering tasks safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will ensure maximum machine efficiency by reducing downtime and set-up time while adhering to all legal and local policies and guidance.


Responsibilities


  • Execute planned, preventative, and reactive engineering tasks in a timely manner
  • Maintain compliance with all legal and local policies and guidance relating to maintenance and machine setting
  • Work proactively as part of an engineering team to ensure maximum machine efficiency
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards and a clean-as-you-go policy
  • Set and calibrate machine tooling ready for production in a safe and timely manner
  • Be the first point of contact for all machinery breakdowns on assigned shifts
  • Support the engineering management in building an engineering team and related processes fit for future challenges

Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Experience of Electrical fault finding in a manufacturing environment
  • Suitable electrical qualifications
  • Experience of operating in a commercial/industrial environment
  • Time served Electrician with the ability to read Electrical Schematics and Specifications
  • Level 3 BTEC or Diploma or equivalent qualifications

Estimated Salary


We offer a salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
