About the Role

As an Electrical Inspector at Sigma, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by detecting and addressing any deviations in equipment performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively identifying and addressing any issues with equipment performance to prevent downtime and ensure optimal productivity
  • Ensuring routine maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards to maintain plant safety and efficiency
  • Supporting electrical maintenance technicians and ensuring all tasks are completed safely and effectively to maintain a safe working environment
  • Working with contractors to ensure jobs are completed on time and to the required quality to meet plant production goals
  • Utilizing predictive maintenance techniques to keep equipment running optimally and minimize downtime
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and drawings for equipment to ensure easy access to information
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience as an electrical maintenance technician, electrical inspector, or electrical engineer within a manufacturing environment
  • An NVQ level 3 or higher in electrical engineering to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform your duties effectively
  • A solid understanding of preventive maintenance programs and tools to identify and address potential issues before they become problems
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques to prevent downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance
