Fostering Social Worker for Children's Social Services
Company OverviewDundee City Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fostering Social Worker to join our Adoption and Permanence Resource Team.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionThis full-time role involves working both in the office and at home, with a 37-hour workweek. As a Fostering Social Worker, you will be responsible for developing an appropriate range of Family Placement Resources to meet the needs of children and young people in care.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A Social Work Degree (CQSW, Dip SW, or CSS)
- Experience in child care work, including fostering and adoption legislation
- An understanding of issues affecting Care Experienced children
