About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Veolia. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wastewater treatment plants across the North East of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults and issues on wastewater treatment plant equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance work is carried out safely, promptly, and cost-effectively.
  • Provide on-site support to the site engineering department on operational and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist operations and maintenance teams during major outages and shutdowns.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 2392 Inspect and Test.
  • Proven track record of work experience within a similar industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of wastewater and/or water processes is advantageous.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages and experience of computerised maintenance management systems is advantageous.
