Rehabilitation Programmes Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Nuffield Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to our mission of building a healthier nation.
Job DescriptionThis role will involve delivering Nuffield Health Rehabilitation Programmes, utilising our unique pathway, and championing our charitable purpose. You will be responsible for undertaking remote and in-person facilitation of exercise, emotional wellbeing support, healthy eating, and goal setting to aid participants' recovery.
The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and influencing skills, be a good communicator, organised, and self-motivated. As part of this role, you will work collaboratively with our charity team and beneficiaries.
You will need excellent IT skills and hold a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
Responsibilities- Run a series of 12-week rehabilitation programmes.
- Facilitate and deliver both live stream and in-person group exercise classes, catering to people of varying abilities and physical function.
- Promote self-directed activity using pre-recorded on-demand classes and a journal to aid participants in managing their condition after the 12-week programme.
- Re-calibrate exercises and intensities based on regular improvements demonstrated by changes in effort and performance.
- Identify any deterioration of participants and follow internal escalation processes as necessary.
- Deliver or facilitate various exercise modalities from circuit training to strength training, working within people's varying physical abilities.
- Work flexibly and have good organisational skills to balance multiple programme groups (cohorts) at once and process new referrals.
- Engage in weekly one-to-one telephone conversations with each participant to offer coaching on setting short-term and long-term goals, understanding restrictions, monitoring progress, and offering emotional wellbeing support.
- Ensure accurate capture of outcome data, essential in supporting our charitable purpose and tracking participants' progress.
- Respond to ongoing programme requirements to ensure successful delivery of each cohort.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Leadership and influencing skills.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Self-motivation and flexibility.
Nuffield Health offers a competitive salary of £25,059.83 pro rata, paid biweekly. Additionally, you will receive free gym membership, private healthcare, and financial wellbeing support.
