Finance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our finance team in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee financial reporting, analysis, and monitoring to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Implement and improve financial systems, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role with a strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is preferred.
