About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Expeditor to join our team at BakerHicks. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the expediting and procurement of equipment on a key project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the expediting of equipment to ensure timely delivery and compliance with project schedules.
  • Work closely with project teams and customers to deliver a service that fully meets their requirements.
  • Lead the assessment of all quotes and commercial terms, as well as technical and commercial analysis.
  • Present and gain approval of Tender Recommendations from customers in accordance with the Procurement Strategy and Schedule.
  • Expedite and support engineering and construction teams to deliver procured items in accordance with the Project Schedule.
Requirements
  • High level of proficiency in the use of general Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience of interacting with client representatives and working with construction contractors.
About You

We are looking for an experienced procurement manager with a strong background in construction or engineering. You will have experience dealing with customs for the delivery of major equipment into the UK market and have delivered complex procurement packages in an EPCM environment.
