Job Title: Offshore Hydraulic Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Hydraulic Specialist to join Human Engineering on a flying-squad basis. The successful candidate will work in various environments and on a wide range of equipment globally, ensuring the commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client cranes and lifting equipment onshore and offshore.

About the Role:
  • Carry out commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client cranes and lifting equipment onshore and offshore.
  • Perform repairs and inspections on electrical equipment and systems.
  • Fault find and repair hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Commission, maintain, inspect, and service client mechanical equipment onshore and offshore.
  • Assist with spares identification and procurement.
  • Produce clear factual documented reports.
  • Comply with site HSEQ requirements.
  • Work safely with site staff to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Skills:
  • Working within the offshore/marine crane industry globally.
  • Level 2 or 3 certificate in Hydraulics (NFPC/BFPA).
  • Commissioning and fault finding on hydraulic equipment.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Experience working at heights.
  • In-depth knowledge of preventative maintenance of cranes.
  • IT literacy and ability to write reports.
  • UK driving licence.
Salary:

Competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus daily per diem while deployed on a job (£50/day), loyalty bonus (50% of per diem for travel days), overtime (pre-agreed), private healthcare benefits, training, medical, and ticket costs covered by the company.
