Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a School Crossing Patrol Officer at Newburgh Primary School. As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe passage of students across the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control traffic flow to ensure safe passage of students
• Provide a visible presence to deter drivers from speeding or disobeying traffic laws
• Work closely with school staff and parents to promote road safety awareness
• Collaborate with local authorities to identify and implement safety improvements

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to withstand outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
