We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiac Surgical Fellow to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a senior cardiac surgical trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in congenital cardiac surgery and explore a career with an academic component.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in operative procedures and contribute to the development of surgical skills
- Assist in the pre-operative assessment and post-operative management of patients
- Contribute to the development of knowledge and skills in intensive care and critical illness
- Participate in the education and training of junior staff
- Contribute to the development of research and academic activities
- FRCS or equivalent qualification
- Experience in adult cardiac surgery
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to contribute to the development of research and academic activities
