TeacherActive is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Education Specialist to join their team in Middlesbrough. This opportunity offers a competitive daily rate of £140 - £200 per day, depending on experience.

Job Description:

As a Bilingual Education Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in French or Spanish to pupils up to Key Stage 5. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles, ensuring inclusive and diverse educational experiences for students with varying abilities, including those with SEND.

  • Develop and teach curriculum-aligned lesson plans in French or Spanish, focusing on varied teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and achievement, utilising data to inform instruction and drive student success.
Requirements:

To succeed as a Bilingual Education Specialist, you must possess QTS with French or Spanish specialism (ECTs welcome) and have experience supporting and teaching children up to Key Stage 5. A strong understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection policies is essential, alongside excellent classroom management skills.

  • A bachelor's degree in education, linguistics, or a related field is required.
  • Prior experience working within a Secondary Setting is necessary.
